My home is broken. What can I do?
Sin and evil wreak havoc in our world and in our families, too. But know that even if our earthly families are broken, we have a spiritual family with Jesus. Look to your brothers and sisters in Christ in the church for help.
And looking about at those who sat around him, [Jesus] said, “Here are my mother and my brothers! For whoever does the will of God, he is my brother and sister and mother. ~ Mark 3:34-35
When Jesus saw his mother and the disciple whom he loved standing nearby, he said to his mother, “Woman, behold, your son!” Then he said to the disciple, “Behold, your mother!” And from that hour the disciple took her to his own home. ~ John 19:26-27
For my father and my mother have forsaken me, but the Lord will take me in. ~ Psalm 27:10
Dear Jesus, help my family. Help us love and forgive one another. And thank You for my church family. Amen.
