What if I can't have children? Why God?

This is very sad and painful for many women (and men, too!). God doesn't tell us why things happen as they do in this often confusing world, but this we know: He loves you! He sorrows with you, and He knows your every tear.

You have kept count of my tossings;

    put my tears in your bottle.

    Are they not in your book?  ~ Psalm 56:8

Dear Jesus, comfort those who would like to have children but cannot. Give them an extra measure of Your grace and care in their sorrow. Amen.

Activity: Meditate on the hymn Entrust Your Days and Burdens (the words are below the video). This hymn was written by a pastor who lost all but one of his children and his wife! Yet he pens such words of confidence and hope.
