Everything keeps changing! What can I count on? What will last? How can I be sure of anything?

You’re right! The world keeps changing and changing its mind! What used to be right is now wrong, and what used to be wrong is now right. But God doesn’t change. His Word is timeless, sure, and true. You can count on Him!

Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever.  ~ Hebrews 13:8

Everyone then who hears these words of mine and does them will be like a wise man who built his house on the rock. And the rain fell, and the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house, but it did not fall, because it had been founded on the rock.  ~ Matthew 7:24-25

LISTEN
to My Hope Is Built on Nothing Less and know that while everything and everyone else in this world may let you down, Jesus never will.

ACTIVITY: Make a list . . . What has changed for the better in your lifetime? What changed for the worse? How has God remained constant through it all?

Dear Jesus, in this world and life there is so much change, but the one thing I can always count on is Your love and forgiveness, Your words and promises. Help me cling to them when the changes seems overwhelming, for You are the solid rock that the storms and changes of life cannot overcome. Amen.
