What about same sex marriage?
Only a man and a woman can physically become one flesh. God wants us to love all people, but marital love is only for a man and a woman joined in holy matrimony.
[Jesus] answered, “Have you not read that he who created them from the beginning made them male and female, and said, ‘Therefore a man shall leave his father and his mother and hold fast to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh’? So they are no longer two but one flesh. ~ Matthew 19:4-6a
Dear Jesus, help me to use my body in a way that is pleasing to You. Help me to love all people with Your love, but to save my sexual love for the wife (or husband) You have given me (or will give me). Amen.
