I’m confused about who I am. What’s my gender?
God created you. You are not an accident. You didn’t happen by chance. You may be uncomfortable with who you are, but God did not make a mistake. He has a reason for you, and a purpose for you, and a plan for you.
So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them. . . . And God saw everything that he had made, and behold, it was very good. ~ Genesis 1:27, 31a
Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect. ~ Romans 12:2
Dear Jesus, sometimes I get confused. Help me look to You for the answers and clarity I need, for I know You will never mislead me or let me down. Amen.
Activity #1: Pray for those in our world who are confused about gender and sexuality issues. Pray for those who have been deceived and misled. Pray that we see all people as created in the image of God - people whom Jesus loves and for whom He died! - and show them love and patience and care.
